What I actually do

By trade and by daily work, I'm a software developer. That means I write code — in programming languages, with databases and servers — not assemble ready-made blocks in a drag-and-drop tool. Website development is one part of that work; the other is software that runs in the background and replaces manual work in a company.

That difference isn't obvious at first glance, but you feel it the moment you need something beyond an ordinary page.

That combination is the reason this site exists in this form at all. Most companies in the region that build websites stop at design. When a client asks six months later "can this connect to our software" or "can a client book their own appointment", the search for an outside developer begins, along with the wait, and a quote that's twice as high because now a third party is working on it who doesn't know the project.

Why work with one person, not an agency

At an agency, you talk to a salesperson, the work is done by someone you never meet, and every change passes through three people. It gets more expensive and slower, and most gets lost in translation — what you explained in the first meeting reaches the person building it as a line in a spreadsheet.

With me, the person who heard what you need is the same one writing the code. No handoffs and no "that never got passed along". The downside is that I'm not infinitely available — if my schedule is full, I'll tell you a realistic date instead of taking the job and running a month late.

How I work

• Fixed price before work starts. Ranges are public on the site, and the final quote comes in writing. No "that wasn't included" at the end.
• An honest assessment, even when it's not in my interest. If it's cheaper to fix your existing site than build a new one, I'll tell you. If automation doesn't pay off in your case, you'll hear that too.
• Everything stays yours. Domain, hosting, code and access are registered in your name from day one. Nobody holds you hostage.
• Speed is measured, not promised. I hand-code sites, without heavy themes and a pile of plugins. Run this site through PageSpeed and compare it with any other site in the industry.
• Mobile first. Most visits in Bosnia come from a phone, so everything is designed and tested there first.

What I work with

I hand-code websites — HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no off-the-shelf themes and no systems that carry a pile of code your site will never use. For web applications and automation I use real programming languages and databases, with server setups that can be maintained for years, not just while they're trendy.

Along with that come the things you don't see until you need them: server migrations, databases, backups, monitoring, security and speed optimization.

Who I work for

Small and medium businesses, trades, sole proprietors and private individuals — in Banja Luka, across Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. Mostly tradespeople, restaurants and cafés, healthcare and legal services — companies where a client searches, compares a couple of results and calls the one that looks serious.
